Who We Are

About Restore Life

Men’s Sober Living in Richmond

Building a Bridge to Lasting Recovery
Founded in Richmond, Virginia, Restore Life was created to bridge the gap between treatment and independent living.

We understand that recovery is more than just sobriety—it’s about rebuilding confidence, developing life skills, and finding purpose. Our structured sober living environment provides the stability and support necessary to navigate the challenges of early recovery successfully.

Led by Experience, Driven by Compassion

Our founder, Al Monroe, CSAC, has walked this path himself. As a man in long-term recovery, he intimately understands the struggles and triumphs of sobriety. With a background in leadership, case management, and substance abuse counseling, Al built Restore Life as a sanctuary where men can find guidance, accountability, and community as they work towards a healthier future.

Why Choose Restore Life for

Transitional Living in Richmond

We maintain a strict drug- and alcohol-free home to ensure a stable environment. Our structured program helps residents stay accountable while fostering a sense of personal responsibility.

Recovery is about mind, body, and spirit. That’s why we provide nutritional education and meal planning with a registered dietitian to help residents build sustainable, healthy habits that support their overall well-being.

We believe in the power of community. Living among peers who understand the struggles of addiction fosters mutual accountability, encouragement, and shared growth. No one has to walk this journey alone.

From job placement assistance to continuing education opportunities, we equip our residents with the tools they need to transition back into society successfully. We help navigate employment searches, social services, and personal development goals.

Our home is conveniently located near public transportation, employment opportunities, and 12-step meetings, making it easier for residents to stay engaged in their recovery journey.
